On Wednesday, March 4, Liberty’s two jazz bands and three jazz choirs performed at Jazz Night.

The night began with Spark, who debuted a third song into their set: Cinnamon and Clove arranged by Michele Weir. They were followed by the Lightning Jazz Band, followed by Amplify. The Liberty Jazz Ensemble performed fourth, and the concert concluded with Voltage, who added a fourth song to their set: This Song is You arranged by Kerry Marsh.

The jazz bands still have performances at the Southeast Iowa Band Association (SEIBA) and Solon jazz festivals ahead of them. However, the night marked the final performance of Spark and the second-to-last performances of Amplify and Voltage. The two jazz choirs are performing for the final time at the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships on March 24.
