The Liberty High School Difference Makers are hosting their Groovy and Bright Winter Family Event on December 3. The event will be hosted at Liberty High School from noon to four and will feature fun activities for the whole family! Admission is free for all ages.
Some of the free activities at the event include outdoor horse-drawn carriage rides, penguin bowling, a themed holiday walk, bouncy houses, arts and crafts projects, and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.
The event will host several food and merchandise vendors from the North Liberty and Iowa City areas.
There will also be a holiday tree walk and auction around the school. Attendees will have the ability to bid on holiday trees and prizes provided by area businesses. All proceeds from the auction go to the Miracle Network Dance Marathon and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital to support children with terminal illnesses and their families.
Admission and many of the activities at this event are free of charge. The Liberty High School Difference Makers are excited to be hosting this event and hope to see many Liberty families and community members in attendance!
