Rosie’s Reviews: ‘The Guest List’
This edition of Rosie’s Reviews explores Lucy Foley’s ‘The Guest List’.
Imagine you were invited to the wedding of the year with hundreds of others. Everyone from movie stars to magazine editors are there. Everyone on the island has a secret, everyone has a motive, but only one person follows through.
In Lucy Foley’s The Guest List this scenario becomes a reality. With multiple point of views and switches between the past and present, you will not be able to put this book down. This Who-Done-It mystery will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. This is one of my favorite mysteries I have read so far this year. Foley dives deep into the complications that can surround a wedding, especially when everyone has a connection on a connectionless island. I rate this book a ⅘. The only downside was that I felt it did not dive into enough background information for some of the characters. But don’t let that dissuade you from reading this book, because you will be thinking about it long after you finish reading.
